Title: Avoid this customer
Post by: azura540 on September 13, 2011, 07:45 pm
I've recently had a transaction with beckvierzwei for two items.
Upon receival of both he only finalized one despite leaving feedback for the other item and leaving it to auto-finalize.
I think we all know as vendors that waiting for auto-finalize is a pain in the ass and im just pointing him out as a potential source of this problem.

Azura540

This user has bought off me as well and has taken the piss by not finalizing and releasing the funds after receiving the item. This has also happened with numerous other people but I won't name and shame.

But this guy, even after messaging and him reading the message he still didn't finalize but went to order off another a vendor!

 >:(

beckvierzwei - Avoid this buyer, will just make your life a little longer and more difficult.

Wow, plot thickens, just been speaking to azura540 and it seems he also has another buyer who didn't auto finalize. 'jack2' is also another buyer who does not finalize once receiving orders, vendors avoid.

Why would a buyer finalize BEFORE receiving the item.  I thought that was the whole point of escrow, to protect both buyer and seller.  If a buyer finalizes and then the item does not show up they are screwed.  Right?  Im sure as heck not gonna do that.  If the item does not show up for all I know the guy bagged the money and never even shipped.

They're talking about buyers who get the product, then don't finalize. If a buyer does that, the vendor must wait a really long time to get their money. Its a fucked up, rude practice.

This. It's really irritating but a thread for vendors should be kept of those who have bad practice on SR.

+1

My other identity always finalizes on the same or next day. Usually on the same day a product arrives. It is the least we can do, especially given the fluctuating BTC prices.

I've also seen other buyers go back to the feedback and update it later once they sampled the product. I think this is great. You not only let the community know that the product arrived and appears legit, you also leave feedback later regarding the actual quality of the goods.

This place is awesome!

I think autofinalize should at least be shortened for domestic orders.

It doesn't happen as much these days since I started the out-of-escrow discount program, but it's still a pain in the ass when someone buys an ounce and they're smoking it for a fricken week while my money is just sitting there....

anarcho47-
I couldn't agree more strongly. Waiting a fricken week is unreasonable!
-Buyers, get with the program! Geez!!

Auto finalization time should be shortened. For 2 days. I want that BTC.  (2 days, j/k)

I recommend staying inside escrow. It is safe AND it's the rules! But on occasion I have been known to finalize early. anarcho47 and nomad bloodbath have BOTH EARNED my respect through private conversations and backing up what they say and following through 100%. GREAT SELLERS, HONEST PEOPLE. I always finalize early for both of them. I ask to do it. That gives them a heads up and they can take care of their end. But as a general rule I do not recommend nor practice finalizing early.
